About Galact Quest
I spent an afternoon with Galact Quest expecting something closer to a space sim, but it's really a casual adventure wrapped in a galactic rescue premise. You navigate your ship between planets, solve light puzzles, and piece together what happened to your partner's team. The pacing is deliberate - this isn't about action or quick reflexes. Instead, the game leans on exploration and incremental story reveals, which works fine if you're in the mood for something low-pressure. The core loop is simple: visit a planet, interact with objects, talk to C5-PX, move on. There's not much challenge here, and the visuals are modest even for 2017. But if you want a game that doesn't demand anything from you except curiosity and an hour or two of your time, it delivers exactly that. Not essential, but harmless comfort gaming.
