FUR Squadron

FUR Squadron threw me into what looked like standard mech-trainer stuff, then immediately went sideways with a mystery that actually grabbed my attention. It's a short, single-player action adventure that doesn't overstay its welcome, and that's kind of its strength. The core loop is straightforward combat and exploration, controller-friendly, and the pacing respects your time. The problem is execution. This feels like a solo dev or very small team swinging for something fun but not quite landing all the pieces. It's not broken, just lean to the point of feeling unfinished. If you want a weird, compact action game you can finish in an afternoon and never think about again, FUR Squadron delivers. Don't expect it to stick around in your head.
