One brilliant grapple mechanic wrapped in a rough little platformer. The first hour feels slippery and unfair; hour two is where it clicks, if you get there.

The first forty minutes of Frizzy feel like arguing with the controls. Your grapple fires a beat later than your thumb expects, momentum carries further than any level seems to want, and the early rooms punish you for the exact physics they later ask you to love. That friction is real and it costs this game a lot of players, which is roughly what the mixed Steam reception reflects. But the swing itself is genuinely good. Once you stop fighting the arc and start reading it, chaining grapples into a single unbroken line of motion becomes the whole point, and the score-chasing runs start to breathe. What Team Frizz built here is small and honest: a solo-scale action platformer that knows it only has one idea and spends its short runtime turning that idea over. Controller support is solid, which matters more than usual for something this momentum-dependent. The rough edges never fully sand down, and there is not much beyond the movement to hold you if the movement does not land. Give it the first hour with the analog stick, not the keyboard. If the swing clicks, you will finish it in an evening and remember the good jumps for longer than that. Kai, Scout Team

GamerScout Verdict

Worth it if you'll grind out a rough first hour to earn one very satisfying grapple arc.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
