About Fortnite - Bassassin Quest Pack
I'll be straight with you: this is a cosmetic DLC pack for Fortnite, not a game in its own right. What you're actually getting is the Contract Giller outfit - a fish-headed hitman that mashes the silhouette of a slick suit-wearing assassin with Fortnite's beloved Fishstick lineage - plus the Dorsal Destroyer back bling, and access to a quest bundle that can net you up to 1,000 V-Bucks if you put in the daily play time. The Contract Giller comes with an alternate style (sunglasses on or off), which is a small but appreciated touch. Worth flagging upfront: the Fresh Fish Pickaxe is not included, so the cosmetic set is not complete out of the box. The quest side of the pack is where things get mildly interesting, at least for active Fortnite players. The Bassassin Quests have been retooled multiple times since the pack launched in Chapter 2, Season 2 - starting as daily assignments, shifting to quick challenges, and eventually settling into a format tied to completing daily or general quests across any session. In other words, if you're already logging hours in Battle Royale anyway, the V-Bucks reward is close to free money for normal play. If you're coming back to Fortnite cold just for this, the grind feels more deliberate. The V-Bucks earned can be spent across Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite Festival, or Rocket Racing, which at least gives the currency broad utility. The Contract Giller design itself holds up well. The fish-head-meets-hitman concept is exactly the kind of absurdist charm Fortnite does better than any other live-service shooter, and the two outfit variants give you some flexibility depending on whether you want to look more unhinged or more composed. The Dorsal Destroyer back bling is thematically on-brand - a shark fin worn like a cape - and it pairs tightly with the outfit. Community sentiment around the skin has stayed positive since launch, with the design cited regularly among memorable Chapter 2 cosmetics. The honest caveat here is that this pack is purely cosmetic and quest-access content. It does not change how Fortnite plays, add modes, or unlock any gameplay-affecting items. If you have no interest in the Contract Giller aesthetic, there is nothing here for you. If you are a Fishstick fan, an outfit collector, or a returning player who wants a themed cosmetic bundle that partially offsets its own cost through quest rewards, the value proposition is reasonable. The LEGO Style variant of the Contract Giller outfit is a bonus that gives the skin relevance across Fortnite's expanding game modes, which is a plus that did not exist at launch. Alex, Scout Team
