Flying Soldiers

Flying Soldiers asks you to shepherd a squad of avian recruits through combat puzzles where positioning and order-of-operations matter more than twitch reflexes. Each level is a small grid-based scenario where you plan unit movements, manage limited action points, and figure out the sequence that clears enemies without getting your squad wiped. It's light on narrative and heavy on constraint-solving, which means either the puzzle-design hook catches you immediately or it won't. The game doesn't pretend to have the depth of a real tactics game, and that's honest design. What it does is ask clean questions: can you move these five birds through that layout without breaking your resource economy? No permadeath melodrama, no recruitment spreadsheets. If you enjoy compact puzzle-games that respect your time and don't overstay their welcome, this scratches that itch. Indie scope means no polish surprises, but the core concept is sound.
