About FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition
Chemistry is what decides how you play FIFA 23, and the rework took me a few squads to unlearn. Links are gone, and a player only earns it from club, league and nation ties while played in their listed position, which turns Ultimate Team squad building into a formation puzzle instead of a loan-swap chain. That mode is exactly what this edition feeds. Over the standard version you get Ultimate Team fuel: untradeable player items and loans, extra packs, and launch-window early access that has long since expired. Career Mode gets a small bonus. None of it touches the football itself, so if you live in offline seasons, women's club sides or the World Cup mode, the standard edition plays identically. The extras are usable rather than shelf-filler, but they are consumables with a short shelf life, and they front-load the one mode that never stops asking for more. Worth it only if FUT is where you already spend your evenings.
