The first hour of any Field of Glory game is a wall of unit stat cards, cohesion checks and impact-versus-melee arithmetic, and pushing through it is the whole point, because none of this pack's content lands until you can read a battle line. It also will not run on its own: Field of Glory II has to be installed first. What you get here is a late-medieval army expansion themed on the Swiss and their pike-and-halberd contemporaries, feeding new rosters into custom battles and multiplayer lists alongside the scenario content, with the store listing carrying the exact unit and scenario breakdown. Worth it for completionists and anyone who wants those deep pike formations in their list-building. Everyone else can skip it.
