FIELD BREAKING
A 2017 PvP strategy game that's been gathering dust in early access, stripped-down competitive gameplay with minimal playerbase and zero post-launch momentum.
GamerScout Verdict
A curiosity piece for strategy completionists only; seven years of silence and zero community make this a hard pass.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About FIELD BREAKING
I approach any 2017 early-access title with caution, and Field Breaking's seven-year dormancy speaks volumes. This is a bare-bones PvP strategy game: you compete online against opponents in what sounds like a turn-based or real-time tactical setup, but the Steam description offers almost nothing concrete about mechanics, unit types, or what actually differentiates it from a dozen other indie strategy experiments. No reviews, no Metacritic score, no community signal. Unless you're archaeologically interested in forgotten multiplayer experiments or have friends already invested in the player count (which is almost certainly zero), there's no reason to start here when modern alternatives like Slay the Spire, Inscryption, or any Paradox title offer proven depth and active communities. The lack of development post-2017 is the real red flag.
