FC 24 Pre-Order Bonus (DLC)
Thin DLC that pads your FC 24 start with a handful of timed loan players and a few Career Mode perks - useful on day one, essentially worthless a week later.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth nothing post-launch; day-one Xbox buyers who got it free already extracted its full value in the first week.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

About FC 24 Pre-Order Bonus (DLC)
I spend a lot of time stress-testing whether pre-order add-ons actually shift the needle, and this one lands firmly in the "cosmetic starter kit" category rather than anything that alters how the base game plays. What you get is a Cover Star Loan Player Item good for 10 Ultimate Team matches, two Ambassador Loan Player Pick Items - one male, one female - each limited to 5 matches, an unlocked PlayStyles slot for Clubs mode, additional Player Personality Points for Player Career, and a 5-star Coach available for hire in Manager Career. That is the complete contents list. Nothing here is permanent, and the loan players burn out faster than a free-to-play weekend trial. Context matters, so let's put the base game under the microscope briefly. FC 24 launched in September 2023 as EA's first football title without the FIFA branding, and the reception was mixed-to-decent: critics generally landed around the 7/10 range, noting that HyperMotionV genuinely smoothed out animations and that PlayStyles - a 34-variant system drawing on Opta data - gave individual players more distinct on-pitch personalities. The introduction of women's footballers into Ultimate Team alongside men was the headline structural change, and the Evolutions progression system gave FUT card-grinders a new axis to work with. Career Mode received incremental love through expanded manager training controls and a new agent system for Player Career. Good foundation, imperfect execution, same long-running AI gripes. Back to this DLC. The unlocked PlayStyles slot in Clubs has a shelf life only if you are actively grinding Clubs in the first weeks post-launch. The 5-star Coach in Manager Career is a single hire perk with no compounding benefit - once you have your save running, a good coach is easy to find through normal transfer market activity anyway. The Player Personality Points give your Player Career avatar a small attribute head-start, which is meaningful only in the early save hours before organic progression overtakes it. None of these items are the kind of persistent, system-altering unlocks that would justify hunting down this DLC retroactively. Who does this serve? Primarily the day-one Xbox Series X or Xbox One buyer who pre-ordered the base game and received this as a pack-in. At that point in the cycle, a 10-match loan of the cover star - Erling Haaland - in Ultimate Team is a reasonable first-session toy. The ambassador loan picks let you trial a male and a female top-tier player, which dovetails neatly with FC 24's mixed-gender UT pitch concept. If you were already buying at launch anyway, the bonus cost you nothing and the items were fine for what they were. Buying this DLC separately, after the fact and well into the game's lifecycle, makes almost no rational sense. Loan items expire per match count regardless of when you redeem them, and the Career Mode perks are so minor they register as rounding errors in any save with more than a handful of hours logged.
