About FarSky
I went in expecting a cozy crafting sim and got something much quieter and stranger. FarSky drops you on an alien ocean floor with a habitat pod and zero handholding. You scavenge for resources, build structures to survive, and venture into black water knowing something might be down there. There's no combat, no story, just you against pressure, temperature, and the creeping sense that the dark isn't empty. It's rough around the edges and feels like a passion project from 2015, but it nails the core loop: gather, build, explore, repeat. If you want atmospheric survival without jumpscares or tight mechanics, this is oddly compelling. Solo exploration is the entire game, and it works if you don't mind slower pacing and deliberate design choices.
