About Far Cry 2 (Fortune's Edition)
Guns in this sandbox jam, rust, and occasionally explode in your hands, which is why any bundle that widens your arsenal is worth a second look. That said, Fortune's Edition is an add-on and not a standalone release, so it needs "Far Cry®" to work. Without the base game installed, it does nothing at all. What it layers on is unlockable content for the mercenary campaign (gear and vehicle additions rather than new story missions), and the store listing is the place to check the exact item manifest, since the pack data here doesn't itemize it. Grab it if you're a completionist who wants the full toy box on a replay. Anyone content with the standard loadout can skip it without missing anything structural.
