I went in expecting a novelty card game banking on celebrity culture, and that's mostly what Famousity delivers. The core loop is straightforward: collect cards featuring famous people, build decks, play matches against AI or other players. There's no complex strategy layer here, just solid casual card-game fundamentals with a pop-culture skin. The problem is age and obscurity. Released in 2018, Famousity never gained traction and has virtually no active community. The card pool is frozen, updates are nonexistent, and matchmaking is likely dead. If you're looking for a quick, mindless card game and don't mind playing solo against bots, it's harmless enough. But there's zero reason to pick this over something like Slay the Spire or even a free-to-play alternative with an actual player base.
