NCR Power Armor, a 4-star Legendary Super Sledge, and a handful of cosmetics aimed squarely at New Vegas nostalgia. Whether that's worth your money depends entirely on how much you care about drip.

I'll be straight with you: the Mojave Bundle is not content. It's a cosmetic drop with one mechanical hook - the Ad Victoriam Super Sledge, which ships as the first 4-star Legendary weapon sold through the Atom Shop, carrying the new "charged" mod that also drops in raids. That part is actually interesting for active players farming legendary effects, because the 4-star modifier system opened up a whole new ceiling for build optimization in Burning Springs. The rest of the bundle - the Ranger Power Armor Paint (the so-called NCR armor the community was calling "NCR Bundle" before launch), the NCR Flag, the New Vegas Neon Sign, the Legion Legate Outfit, and two player title prefixes - is pure cosmetic. Fan service with a price tag attached. Context matters here. The Burning Springs update that this bundle lives alongside is genuinely the biggest thing Bethesda has done with Fallout 76 since Wastelanders in 2020. The new Ohio region gives you a sun-scorched biome with its own hub called Highway Town, a bounty-hunting loop split between Grunt Hunts and the tougher Head Hunts run through The Ghoul (voiced by Walton Goggins), and two new public events - Gearin' Up and Sinkhole Solutions - that are the kind of chaotic co-op chaos that makes 76 tolerable on a good day. The base game content is free. None of it is locked behind this bundle. The Mojave Bundle sits entirely on top of that, cosmetically. The value argument is shaky. Steam reception on the bundle sits at around 63% positive, and the community complaints are consistent: the Legate Outfit clashes thematically with the NCR armor in the same package, the non-weapon cosmetics are thin, and the whole thing feels priced for people who couldn't save enough atoms in the shop. The Super Sledge being a melee weapon will immediately limit the audience. If you run a heavy melee ghoul build or a power armor slugger, the 4-star "charged" modifier is a real upgrade vector worth considering. If you're a gun player, you're paying for a wall decoration and a paint job. Player reception flagged that the Burning Sands starter bundle offers better practical value for newer players, so if you're early in your 76 journey, check that one first. Fallout 76 itself, post-Burning Springs, is in the most stable and content-rich state it has ever been. Hit detection still has moments where it feels like packets are taking the scenic route, and inventory management without a Fallout 1st subscription remains friction for friction's sake. But the live population is healthy, public event rotations are active, and the bounty system finally gives the world some structured purpose beyond daily quests. The Mojave Bundle is for the player who already knows they're in for the long haul and wants to look like they walked out of the Mojave while doing it. Fred, Scout Team

Worth it only if you run a melee or power armor build and want the 4-star Super Sledge - everyone else is paying for a paint job.
