About Falling Skies: The Game
I went in hoping for a solid tactical experience based on the Falling Skies universe. Instead, I found a game that feels stuck between genres without mastering either. The strategy layer is shallow, and character progression doesn't hook you the way RPGs should. Combat is turn-based and slow, with AI that doesn't challenge seasoned strategy players. Visuals and UI scream mid-2000s, and the writing doesn't have the spark that made the show compelling. If you're a completionist Falling Skies fan who needs every bit of show canon, there's something here. Everyone else should look elsewhere for their tactical fix.
