Fake Colours
Thirty puzzles, one sitting, no pretense. A palate cleanser for when your 300-hour campaign save needs a break, not a game to build a weekend around.
GamerScout Verdict
Fine as a 30-puzzle evening reset between longer games, but do not come here expecting actual strategy.
Compare Prices(3 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Fake Colours
The best thing here is the honesty of the scope. Thirty colour-matching puzzles, mouse-driven, done in an evening, and it never once tries to convince you it is something bigger. I respect that more than I expected to. The difficulty curve is flat by design, the achievements come without grinding, and there is no tutorial to speak of because there is nothing to teach. You look, you match, you move on. As a between-campaigns reset button it does the job cleanly, and 83% positive across 163 reviews suggests the people who bought it knew exactly what they were getting. Where it disappoints is depth of decision-making, which is the only metric I actually track. There is no build order, no failure state worth naming, no system that opens up on puzzle 20 in a way it did not on puzzle 3. Single-player only, no mod support, no reason to return once the thirty are cleared. Judge it as a coffee-break toy and it is fine. Judge it as strategy, which its genre listing invites, and it has almost nothing to chew on.
