The first hour is a wall of menus: recruitment lists, contract costs, travel routes, morale meters, and a calendar that keeps rolling whether or not you have figured out what any of it means. Push through, because the loop underneath is sharper than the presentation suggests. You are running the agency, not swinging the sword. You hire heroes, pair them into parties that can stand each other, route them across the map to jobs that fit their level and gear, and then watch turn-based fights resolve with only your prep to blame when a promising recruit comes home in pieces. What it does best is make hiring feel like a real decision. Personalities clash, wages compound, injuries stack, and rival agencies are grabbing the good contracts while you dither. Where it sags: the fantasy-parody humor thins out fast, the interface never stops being cluttered, and the mid-game flattens once you have a roster that works. Worth a look if logistics and personnel drama are your idea of a good time.
