GamerScout Verdict
For hardcore indie hunters only. Ambitious but poorly executed survival mechanics make this a hard pass for most.

About Endurance
I went in expecting nothing from Endurance and still felt let down. This 2020 indie melds action combat with survival resource management in a way that sounds promising on paper: scavenge, craft, fight, repeat. The core loop exists, but execution stumbles. Combat feels clunky, animations are stiff, and the UI doesn't communicate what you're supposed to do next. It's the kind of game where you're constantly second-guessing whether you're doing something wrong or the game just isn't telling you how to play it. There's potential buried under the rough presentation if you're the type who enjoys fiddling with broken systems and patching your own fun. But there's no real reason to recommend this over the dozen other indie action-RPGs that do survival mechanics with more polish and clearer intent. Skip it unless you're specifically hunting for obscure 2020 releases.
