I spent a couple hours with Endless Zombie Weekend and found exactly what the title promises: waves of zombies, no plot, and a loop of survive-upgrade-repeat. You shoot, collect currency, buy better guns and health boosts, then push into the next day. The RPG elements boil down to stat progression through a shop menu. It's functional, not broken, but there's no hook beyond the core grind. This is pure arcade territory for players who want something to mindlessly click through without cutscenes or story friction. The problem is the game doesn't do anything special to make that grind feel rewarding. Weapon variety exists but the progression feels slow, and the endless format means you'll see the same enemy types and arenas repeat until you either quit or unlock the next tier of gear. It's the kind of game you load when you have 20 minutes and want to turn your brain off, not the one you'll return to obsessively.
