Endless Fables 2 drops you back into Pamela Cavendish's world, this time chasing a missing friend through frozen Nordic landscapes tied to Loki and Hodur. If you enjoyed the first game's leisurely pace and puzzle-box level design, the mechanics here are familiar: dialogue trees, inventory management, and environmental puzzles that lean more toward "find the right item" than brain-benders. The Norse setting feels like scenery swapped onto the same formula rather than a genuine shift in tone or puzzle complexity. The game functions smoothly on PC, Mac, and Linux with cloud saves and trading cards for the collection crowd. It's inoffensive and modestly charming, but unremarkable. Fans of the Endless Fables series know what they're getting; newcomers would be better served by the original or a stronger hidden-object adventure. This is comfort-food gaming for very patient players only.
