Echelon
A 2014 space-combat sim with 30+ campaigns and 20+ weapons that struggles to justify its repetitive mission structure despite solid flight mechanics.
GamerScout Verdict
Solid flight mechanics buried under thin mission repetition; a budget space-shooter for patient arcade fans only.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Echelon
Echelon positions itself as a straightforward arcade-flight game wrapped in sci-fi trappings. You're a Galactic Federation pilot grinding through campaign missions to unlock new weapons and climb ranks. The flight controls are responsive and the weapon variety (20+ options) gives each loadout some teeth, but the mission design rarely evolves beyond "destroy targets, survive timer." After a few hours, you'll realize the 30+ campaigns are largely recycled setups with stat tweaks rather than meaningful progression. The mixed Steam reviews (50% positive) tell you most of what you need to know: competent shooting, forgettable level design, and not enough strategic choice to anchor a 20+ hour grind. If you want arcade-style space combat without sim depth or roguelike variability, Echelon scratches that itch on a budget. Everyone else should look elsewhere.
