Dungeon Keeper 2
A 1999 strategy-action hybrid where you build and manage an evil dungeon, then defend it from heroes. Quirky, janky, but genuinely fun if you vibe with old-school PC game jank.
GamerScout Verdict
A quirky, unpolished gem for players nostalgic for 90s PC strategy or willing to embrace controlled chaos over modern UI design.

About Dungeon Keeper 2
I went in expecting a straightforward RTS, but Dungeon Keeper 2 is weirdly hands-on. You're literally clicking around a isometric dungeon to place rooms, summon creatures, and micromanage every imp and demon. The real meat is the asymmetry: you're building while heroes raid you, and the game actively punishes min-maxing. The interface feels ancient and the graphics haven't aged gracefully, but there's genuine charm in juggling creature morale, trap placement, and spell casting all at once. The campaign is lengthy and gets mechanically dense fast. If you played the original or grew up with Dungeon Keeper, this is the expanded version you wanted. If you're coming cold, expect a steep learning curve and outdated UI design. Not for everyone, but oddly rewarding if you stick with it.
