GamerScout Verdict
Solid roguelite bones, but launch clarity issues make it a wait-and-see for strategy fans not willing to squint at tooltips.

About dungeon & heros
I spent a few hours with Dungeon Heroes expecting a tactical deckbuilder, and instead found a turn-based squad game with promise buried under muddy UI. You recruit heroes, level them up, grab random loot and soul skills, then push through procedurally-generated maps until a run ends. The core loop of team-building across reincarnation cycles isn't bad, there's a genuine progression layer where you're unlocking new heroes and working toward synergies. The problem is friction. The interface doesn't clearly explain what your skills do, stat scaling feels opaque, and early decisions don't feel meaningful because you don't understand their payoff. For a game banking on build variety and replayability, the onboarding is too sparse. If you're willing to experiment through a rough launch state and tolerate trial-and-error learning, there's a competent roguelite underneath. But this isn't ready for players who want their games to respect their time.
