About Dungeon Girl
I went in expecting a narrative-driven dungeon crawler, but Dungeon Girl is really a puzzle game with RPG dressing. You're matching tiles to deal damage, progressing through floors that blur together, occasionally stopping to craft one of 300 items that mostly exist to be crafted. The core loop is simple and oddly hypnotic if you're into incremental progression, but don't expect boss encounters or meaningful story beats to break up the floor-to-floor rhythm. This is a solid pick if you want something that plays itself while you're doing dishes, or if you're chasing achievements and trading cards. But if you're after an adventure with stakes or character, you'll bounce off within an hour. Dungeon Girl knows exactly what it is: a cozy, low-stakes time sink. No shame in that, but know what you're signing up for.
