I went in expecting arcade thrills and got something closer to a flight sim with racing rules. DRONE The Game is built around first-person aerial racing through obstacle courses, and the controls demand respect, this isn't Mario Kart in the sky. You're managing throttle, pitch, and roll simultaneously, which creates a genuine learning curve. The co-op modes let you race friends or chase shared objectives, which is where the game shines brightest if you've got a patient flying buddy. The catch: presentation feels barebones, the single-player career lacks narrative hooks, and the overall package screams passion project rather than polished release. If you live and breathe FPV drone racing or want to practice the theory before buying real gear, this scratches that itch. Everyone else will probably bounce off the steep controls and spartan menus within an hour.
