Dream Knights

I spent a couple of hours wandering through Dream Knights' surreal levels, and what struck me wasn't challenge but mood. This is a traditional side-scroller where you gather skills to unlock new paths, but the real draw is the art direction: each stage feels like stumbling through someone else's fever dream, all pastels and impossible geometry. Enemy design leans weird rather than tough, and the pacing lets you breathe between combat bursts. It's unpolished in places (the early access tag is honest), and platforming precision isn't razor-tight, but that actually suits the dream logic. If you want a chill, visually inventive platformer that knows when to whisper instead of shout, this one earns your time.
