About Dream Chamber
I went in expecting a traditional detective story and got instead a comedy-first adventure wrapped in surrealist art. You play Charlie, a wisecracking private investigator untangling a mystery that unfolds across increasingly odd dream sequences. The writing is genuinely the star here, if you're patient with slow pacing and dialogue-heavy scenes, there's real charm in the banter and absurdist twists. The catch is that this is very much a product of mid-2010s indie adventure design. Puzzles are forgiving, exploration is linear, and the "dreamlike" framing sometimes feels like an excuse for lack of coherent logic rather than intentional weirdness. It's best enjoyed if you're here for the story and humor rather than brain-teasing. Not essential, but worthwhile for adventure fans who value writing and atmosphere over mechanical challenge.
