About Dragon Fist: VR Kung Fu
I've logged enough hours in VR combat sims to know when a game gets the fundamentals right. Dragon Fist does: the strike detection, timing windows, and impact feedback are genuinely satisfying. Single-player fights against progressively tougher opponents teach you real footwork and guard management instead of just flailing. The artistic direction toward classic martial arts films gives it personality that most VR action games skip entirely. The catch is that the player pool is sparse. Online PvP exists but finding matches takes patience, and cross-platform multiplayer doesn't solve matchmaking loneliness. Co-op fares better if you have a friend with a headset, but this is fundamentally a solo training tool wrapped in a charming package. If you're hunting for deep, technical VR combat and don't need a thriving competitive scene, the physics engine and progression loop will keep you practicing for weeks. If you need warm bodies to fight, manage expectations.
