Dogfight grabbed me with its unapologetic silliness. You're piloting absurd aircraft (the Sausage Bomber, naturally) through increasingly ridiculous missions across a fictional world called Relishtonia, and the game never winks at its own ridiculousness, it commits fully. The arcade shoot-'em-up loop is straightforward: dodge, fire, survive waves of enemies. What makes it stick is the split-screen co-op design, which transforms single-player grinds into genuine moments of shared panic and laughter. The hand-crafted pixel art and chiptune-adjacent soundtrack carry the work; there's real craft in the presentation. It's not a complex game, and it doesn't pretend to be. Dogfight knows exactly what it is: a 2-3 hour arcade experience built for people who want to play something together without thinking too hard. The 89% Steam rating reflects an audience that appreciated the intentionality here. If you're hunting for couch co-op that respects your time and has a sense of humor, this delivers.
