About Dodge
Dodge is exactly what it says on the tin: you move a shape around a screen and avoid incoming obstacles. No power-ups, no story, no progression systems to pad the runtime. Just you, your reflexes, and an endless stream of things trying to hit you. The appeal lives entirely in moment-to-moment tension - if you're the type who gets zen focus from pure avoidance mechanics, this scratches that itch. The trade-off is brutal honesty. There's no meta-game, no unlocks, no reason to play beyond "can I last 30 more seconds?" If you need goals or narrative breadcrumbs to stay engaged, Dodge will feel empty. But for arcade purists who remember when games were about skill and high scores, this 2015 indie title is refreshingly unapologetic about what it is.
