Disease -Hidden Object-

I went in expecting generic jump-scares, but Disease does something quieter and weirder: it makes you hunt for clues across two versions of the same space. The real hospital and its hallucination counterpart aren't just reskins, items appear in different places, documents tell fragmented stories, and the mystery of what happened here actually holds together if you pay attention. Hidden object sections are straightforward but the environmental storytelling carries the weight. The catch is production values are thin. Visuals are dated even by 2020 standards, the pacing can drag between discovery moments, and there's not much mechanical variety beyond searching and reading. But if you're the type who enjoys slow-burn exploration and doesn't need AAA polish, the abandoned hospital setting and the dual-world concept create genuine unease without relying on cheap scares. It's a niche game for niche tastes.
