Difficult times 2

I went in expecting tower defense, but Difficult Times 2 is really about managing your defenses and economy under pressure. You're building and upgrading structures to repel waves, but the crunch comes from deciding where to spend limited resources each turn. The strategic layer is thin if you're comparing it to Paradox titles, but for a sub-5 game, the decision trees are solid. Positioning matters, upgrade order matters, and there's a genuine puzzle to surviving late waves without overspending early. The presentation is minimal and the tutorial doesn't hold your hand much, which works against newcomers who want a quick pickup.
