Dice Tower Defense flips the genre's usual formula: instead of placing towers in real time, you're using dice rolls to determine your defenses and the enemy's moves. It's a turn-based puzzle wrapped in tower defense clothing, which means no frantic clicking, just tactical decisions and some luck management. The core loop is simple enough that casual players can jump in, but the randomness creates enough variability to keep replays interesting. The catch is that it's pretty light on content and polish. There's no Steam release, no active community, and no updates since 2017, so what you get is what you get. If you're hunting for a relaxing, brain-teasing defense game that doesn't demand twitch reflexes, this scratches that itch. Everyone else should probably look elsewhere.
