D/Generation HD

D/Generation HD is a bite-sized arcade adventure that doesn't pretend to be anything fancy. You're working your way up through a London skyscraper, room by room, rescuing stranded workers and dealing with a loose virus threat. It's the kind of game that feels like it wandered out of a 1985 computer magazine, grid-based movement, simple combat, and puzzles that make sense without a tutorial. The appeal here is in its no-nonsense design. No bloat, no cinematic cutscenes, just the core loop: move, shoot or puzzle-solve, rescue. Controller support works well if keyboard isn't your thing. It's not trying to be the next big indie darling, and that's refreshing. If you want a quick, straightforward arcade challenge with retro charm and no strings attached, this hits the mark.
