Two full remakes of a cult alien-invasion sandbox, plus bonus carnage modes - this pack gives you more Crypto than you probably deserve, and that is not a complaint.

I grew up watching people lose their minds over the original Destroy All Humans on PS2, and now I can report that the Jumbo Pack is the most complete way to revisit that chaos on Xbox - two remakes, a multiplayer carnage mode, and a batch of extra content, all in one bundle. The first game, the 2020 remake developed by Black Forest Games, puts you in the jetpack boots of Cryptosporidium, a Furon alien with a Disintegrator Ray, a flying saucer, and absolutely no patience for 1950s rural America. The mission structure is classic sandbox-lite: blow things up on foot, hop into the saucer for Armageddon-style city-levelling, sneak into military bases while disguised as a human official, or herd NPCs into an abduction beam. It rotates objective types just often enough to avoid going fully stale, though the stealth sections - body-snatching humans, reading minds with the Cortex Scan ability - do get repetitive faster than the destruction side. The remake keeps nearly all of the original voice cast, which matters more than it sounds because the deadpan mid-century satire only works when the delivery is right. Mechanically, it shows its 2005 bones: controls are modernised, visuals are genuinely transformed, but the core design is faithful rather than reinvented. That is both its appeal and its ceiling. Destroy All Humans 2 - Reprobed, the sequel remake covering Crypto's 1960s globe-trotting war against the KGB, is bigger in scope and variety. Open-world locations now include side missions, Cult of Arkvoodle tasks, collectible music tracks and art, and each area runs two to three hours if you sweep it clean. The spy-movie parody tone trades the first game's Cold War small-town charm for something more self-consciously absurd - hitting hippies with psychic powers in San Francisco lands differently than terrorising a sleepy farm town. Reprobed runs at 60fps with rebuilt assets, and on Xbox Series hardware it looks sharp. The bugs and pop-in that reviewers flagged at launch have been largely ironed out by patches. The criticism that sticks is that Reprobed leans too hard on the Cortex Scan loop - several missions in a row can boil down to scan human, get clue, find target - and the boss encounters lean toward endurance rather than cleverness. The Clone Carnage standalone DLC fills the multiplayer gap with Armageddon, Rampage, and Abduction modes - essentially the saucer and on-foot combat stripped into score-attack formats. It is thin content individually but a decent warmup or wind-down alongside the main campaigns. The Challenge Accepted DLC for Reprobed adds structured score challenges for players who want a reason to replay encounters. Neither piece of DLC will keep you busy long, but they round the pack out rather than pad it cynically. Who is this for: people who remember the PS2 originals fondly and want the nostalgia with modern controls and resolution, or newcomers curious about the alien-invasion open-world that predates Saints Row's brand of mayhem. Go in expecting a faithful preservation of a mid-2000s sandbox with all the structural quirks that implies - not a modern open-world game with a retro skin. The humour is broad, irreverent, and will either click immediately or leave you cold inside the first hour. If it clicks, this pack represents a lot of content for one purchase. If Crypto's brand of low-effort B-movie comedy does not land, no amount of Disintegrator Ray explosions will save it. Alex, Scout Team

Best for players who want a cult sandbox double-bill and can forgive mid-2000s mission design showing through modern visuals.

Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.

Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.

We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.
