Demolish & Build Classic strips simulation down to its skeleton: tear down structures, clear debris, and construct new buildings on empty lots. There's no story, no economy pressure, no real consequences. If you want a zen experience where you just putter around with heavy machinery and watch things fall apart, it delivers that. The mechanics are simple enough that anyone can pick it up in seconds. The problem is there's almost nothing underneath that surface layer. No progression systems, no reason to care about your projects, no challenge to speak of. It's the digital equivalent of moving pixels around until you get bored. For a few minutes of meditative gameplay, sure. For anything more, you'll want to look elsewhere.
