Death Goat

Death Goat is exactly what it sounds like: you play as an angry goat and headbutt things until they stop moving. It's a spare, deliberately silly action game from 2015 that doesn't pretend to be anything grander than a novelty concept with gameplay to match. The premise and execution are aligned, minimal story, maximum horn-related violence. If you're tired of games that apologize for their own weirdness, this one leans in. The draw here is pure arcade simplicity. Combat is straightforward, visuals are deliberately lo-fi, and the whole thing wraps up fast. You're not getting a 40-hour campaign or a deep mechanics well. What you get is a joke that commits to the bit and delivers it without pretension. It's the kind of game that knows exactly who it is and doesn't try to be anything else.
