For adventure-game veterans patient enough to overlook dated UI and dialog bloat in service of a satisfying whodunit.

About Dead Mountaineer's Hotel
Dead Mountainer's Hotel is a classic whodunit wrapped in early-2010s adventure-game mechanics. You're stuck in an isolated mountain retreat where someone's committed a murder, and your job is to interview guests, collect clues, and work out which character is guilty. The premise is solid: everyone's got motive, backstory friction, and secrets. The problem is the execution. Dialog trees feel bloated, movement is slow, and the puzzle logic sometimes expects you to guess rather than deduce. If you loved old LucasArts mystery adventures or Sherlock Holmes adaptations and don't mind pixel-hunting and dialog repetition, there's a fun murder-board game here. Anyone wanting snappy pacing or modern UX should skip it.
