Dead in Antares is a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer horror title where one player controls an invisible killer hunting four human survivors across procedural arenas. Think Dead by Daylight but older, stranger, and way harder to find a match for. The core loop is tense: survivors crouch, listen for audio cues, and coordinate escapes while the killer stalks, mind-games, and tries to pick them off one by one. What works is the pure nervousness of it. When the killer's presence is just a sound effect away, tension ramps fast. Cross-platform multiplayer and full controller support are solid features for 2016. The catch? The game's been dead for years. Finding a match is a long wait, and when you do, you're playing against the exact same dozen players who stuck around.
