The other four bundled DLC packs add killers like the Trapper variant The Wraith and The Clown, along with additional survivors and their respective perk sets, widening the roster and giving new players meaningful build variety to experiment with from day one. Dead By Daylight's perk system is genuinely deep. Survivors can spec into stealth, healing speed, generator efficiency, or second-chance abilities. Killers can stack slowdown, tracking, or chase-pressure perks depending on their preferred playstyle. Getting your loadout right for the way you actually play takes real time, and that is both the game's biggest strength and its longest grind. What does not work as smoothly: matchmaking queue times vary heavily depending on whether you queue as killer or survivor, the learning curve for new players against experienced killers is steep and can feel punishing, and the game's balance has always been a moving target that Behaviour Interactive adjusts through regular patches. If you are coming in expecting a polished, cinematic experience, you will be confused. If you come in expecting a chaotic social horror game that generates genuinely memorable moments every few matches, you will get exactly that. The Silent Hill Edition is specifically a smart buy for anyone who has been curious about Dead By Daylight but wanted more than the bare base game to start with. The included content represents a strong cross-section of the killer and survivor roster, and Pyramid Head in particular is one of the more mechanically interesting killers in the game's catalogue.
