Cyto
A slingshot puzzler that feels fussy for its first hour, then quietly clicks into something soft and hand-painted worth finishing in one sitting.
GamerScout Verdict
Worth an evening if you want calm, hand-painted physics puzzling and can forgive a fiddly, precision-heavy back half.
Compare Prices(4 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Cyto
The first hour of Cyto is where most people bounce off, and I understand why. You are flinging a little glowing blob through hand-painted chambers by dragging and releasing, and the physics do not forgive imprecision. Early stages ask you to collect dream fragments that sit just outside a clean arc, so you retry, adjust by a few pixels, retry again. It reads as trial and error because it is. Push past that, though, and the wordless framing starts doing real work: no tutorial voice, no text, just a small creature drifting through soft-lit rooms while an ambient score keeps the failure states from stinging. What it does well is know its own size. This is a short, single-sitting game from a small studio, and it does not pad itself with mechanics it cannot support. What it does poorly is difficulty shaping. A few late chambers lean on fiddly precision rather than clever spatial reasoning, and that is the wrong kind of hard for something this gentle. Come for the artistry and the calm, not the challenge.
