Cyber Complex occupies weird territory: it's neither a full strategy game nor pure action, but that friction is exactly what makes it interesting. You're managing a sci-fi base in 60s aesthetic while fighting real-time battles with tower-defense DNA. Solo play exists, but this is built for local and online PvP, the kind of game where learning optimal build orders against a friend matters more than a singleplayer campaign. Controller support and cross-platform play mean you can drag a couch co-op buddy in regardless of their platform. The caveat: there's almost no tutorials here, and the community is tiny. You'll need patience to figure out what resource conversions actually do and why your defensive wall placement matters. If you thrive on self-discovery and have someone to play against repeatedly, there's enough strategic depth to reward optimization. If you want a structured single-player experience, keep walking.
