I approached Cubesis expecting casual tile-pushing. Instead, I found a turn-based puzzle engine where weather conditions actively gate your solutions, and you're constantly reverse-engineering what the gods want. Each task locks you into a set piece, move your units around obstacles, manipulate the environment using wind and storms, figure out the hidden logic. The interface is spare, almost austere, which works fine once you understand the underlying systems. It's genuinely thoughtful design, but the learning curve is steep and the audience is tiny, which means minimal community guides and no mod ecosystem to lean on if you're stuck. Worth your time if you're the type who enjoys puzzle games with mechanical depth and doesn't mind trial-and-error discovery. If you're hunting for a breezy casual strategy title, keep scrolling, this one demands patience and spreadsheet-brain problem-solving.
