GamerScout Verdict
Fun for arcade racer fans and couch co-op nights, but solo career runs out of gas quickly.

About Cruis'n Blast
I went in expecting a standard kart racer and got something weirder: a loud, boost-happy arcade game that leans hard into spectacle over simulation. Cruis'n Blast trades realistic driving for ridiculous set pieces, you're launching off ramps, smashing through scenery, and racing across impossible tracks. If you want tight handling and racing lines, look elsewhere. If you want to feel like you're piloting a cartoon explosion, this scratches that itch. The core loop is fast and forgiving, which works if you're playing solo or split-screen with friends. Solo career mode can feel thin, and the novelty of the chaos wears faster than you'd hope once the spectacle settles. It's a Nintendo exclusive that knows exactly what it is: a party racer with arcade DNA, not a competitor to Mario Kart.
