About Crime District
I approached Crime District expecting a standard action romp, but this indie effort tries harder than its budget allows. You play an STG agent hunting truth in the crime-soaked city of Jusan, juggling combat encounters with light strategic planning between missions. The core loop involves positioning, resource management, and choosing where to strike next, elements that suggest someone on the dev team understood how to pace a tactical game. The execution, however, feels rough. Animation clipping, UI clarity issues, and AI that doesn't always challenge intelligently undercut the decision-making you're supposed to care about. This is a "see what sticks" early-access title from a small studio, and that shows in every system. If you're the type who can look past unpolished presentation and enjoy experimenting with underbaked mechanics, there's a kernel of something here worth poking at. Just don't expect the strategic depth to compensate for the rough edges. Approach it as a curiosity rather than a finished experience. Diego, Scout Team
