Corrupt - Political Simulator

I went in expecting a cynical take on backroom politics, and Corrupt delivers exactly that: a tycoon-style game where you build influence through favors, bribes, and backroom deals. It's light on polish and heavy on systems, you're juggling political factions, managing reputation, and deciding when to play dirty. The appeal is narrow: if you've ever wanted to experience the unsexy grit of political horse-trading without moral judgment, this scratches that itch. The catch is that it plays like a spreadsheet with ambitions. There's no polish, no cinematic flair, and the UI feels clunky by modern standards. But if you're the kind of player who enjoys slow-burn strategy games where outcomes hinge on small decisions and political math, the bones are there. Don't expect depth or realism, it's a simulation in the most reductive sense, more board game than immersive world.
