I went in curious about Converter because so few people talk about it. It's an adventure-RPG hybrid from an indie studio that doesn't have the usual Steam polish or reviews to lean on, which made it feel like a genuine discovery rather than another algorithm recommendation. The core loop involves converting and experimenting with game mechanics in ways that suggest ambition, even if the presentation feels unfinished. Mechanics are there, the structure is there, but the pacing and interface design make it harder to enjoy than it should be. Who should play this? Anyone willing to forgive rough edges in exchange for a game that's doing something its own way, not chasing what's already popular. If you need triple-A production values or streamlined tutorials, skip it. If you want to wade through something genuinely weird and experimental, it's worth a shot as a short evening diversion, nothing more.
