Two turns into the first scenario I lost a Sherman to a hedgerow I had cheerfully written off as empty, and the rest of the attack stalled while I rebuilt a fire plan from scratch. That is Battle Pack 1 in a sentence. It is an add-on that requires Combat Mission Battle for Normandy installed, so if you do not own the base title this does nothing for you at all. What it adds is more of the WEGO tactical layer you already bought into: a set of new hand-built scenarios plus a campaign built around Normandy engagements, playable solo or head to head against another human. The store listing carries the exact scenario and campaign names, and I would check it before buying, since the value here is entirely in the mission design rather than any new units or systems. For players who have already chewed through the stock content and want fresh setups with tighter force ratios, it earns its slot. If you are still learning to read spotting rounds and command delay, finish the base scenarios first.
