Comanche
A modern Apache-Apache simulator that treats helicopter combat like a tactical puzzle rather than an arcade shooter, micro-management heavy, historically grounded, and punishing when you ignore your loadout spreadsheet.
GamerScout Verdict
Best for simmers comfortable with steep learning curves and players who treat helicopter combat as a precision tactical problem, not a shooting gallery.
Compare Prices(9 stores)
Every store in this table quotes us in euros, so the EUR figure is the price the seller actually set, not our arithmetic — which is why EUR is also the currency we rank in. We only list an offer here when the store gives us its price in euros, so nothing in this table is a number we invented.
Pick USD, PLN, GBP, CAD or AUD in the header and we convert from EUR at the European Central Bank reference rate — converted amounts are prefixed with ~. Your bank or the store may apply a different rate at checkout. We never hide offers based on where you are: everyone sees this whole table.
We may earn a commission when you buy games through links on this page — at no extra cost to you. It never affects our rankings or verdicts.

About Comanche
I spent enough hours with Comanche to appreciate what it's trying to do: simulate actual Apache engagement doctrine rather than glorify it. You manage weapon selection, fuel consumption, and targeting systems across a campaign that evolves tactically. The Conflicts mode strips away story and demands you execute clean runs against varied objectives. Problem is, the tutorial assumes you've read the manual, and the UI doesn't always explain why your missiles behaved differently than last mission. Enemy AI is competent but sometimes frustratingly scripted. This is a niche title for players who want hard numbers and consequences. If you're comfortable pausing mid-engagement to recalculate approach vectors, the depth rewards that patience. If you expect modern quality-of-life features or forgiving tutorials, Comanche will frustrate you quickly. It's a simulator first, spectacle second.
