What this asks of you first is reflexes, not spreadsheets. It is a real-time card battler, so the deck you assembled between runs has to be playable at speed, without a pause screen to bail you out. Give it an hour and the cute cat art stops registering entirely. What you are actually reading is resource curve versus board pressure: which cards you can afford to hold, when an item is worth the tempo hit, and whether your opener survives contact before your expensive units come online. Deck construction is the real game, and it rewards people who think in openings. The depth ceiling is honest rather than enormous. Card pool variety carries most of the decision-making, and once you have found two or three deck shells that reliably climb toward the throne, the pull thins out. Solo only, no mods, cloud saves and nothing else. But the 93 percent positive read from its early player base tracks with what I found: tight, cheap to learn, and it does not waste your time with a padded tutorial. Come for a focused fifteen-hour deck puzzle, not a campaign.
