Claws & Feathers 3

I went in expecting tower-defense mechanics based on the premise, but Claws & Feathers 3 is actually a stripped-down turn-based puzzle game with light resource management. You position your bird and cat units across grid-based maps, manage food reserves, and solve environmental puzzles to reach the exit. The loop is simple: place creatures, execute their actions in sequence, watch the results unfold. There's no real combat or AI pathfinding drama here - it's more about spatial reasoning and understanding what each unit can accomplish per turn. The casual difficulty curve means anyone can jump in without tutorial friction, which I appreciate. The galaxy-hopping story (however light) gives you 50+ levels of steady progression. The downside: there's minimal strategic depth once you grasp the core mechanic, and the late-game doesn't pivot into anything unexpected. If you want a relaxing puzzle game with a sci-fi coat of paint rather than a tactical challenge, this fits the bill. It won't rewire your brain, but it won't ask much of you either.
